Community Bible Study

Community Bible Study (CBS) is a global, interdenominational Bible study ministry offering a wide range of courses exploring various books of the Bible in both written and spoken formats, for all ages. Currently available in over 85 languages, CBS courses impact the lives of nearly one million people across more than 110 countries worldwide.

Since 1975, CBS has served as a channel for the transformative power of God’s Word. Our participants study the Bible together in diverse settings, such as churches, prisons, schools, refugee camps, homes, coffee shops, and on the Internet. We are a participation-based ministry with trained leaders who foster in-depth, holistic engagement with God’s Word within the context of a caring community, both in person and online.

The vision of Community Bible Study is, “Transformed Lives Through the Word of God.” The mission of Community Bible Study is, “To make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in our communities through caring, in-depth Bible Study, available to all.”
